As an esthetician and small business owner on Oahu, I know how valuable it is to have a community of like-minded professionals to lean on. Collaboration can be incredibly empowering, from sharing tips and techniques to navigating the unique challenges of our industry. That’s why I’m excited to announce the creation of a dedicated Facebook group for Hawaii estheticians!
As you may have guessed, yes, I am a Facebook group addict! I am in a TON of Facebook groups for estheticians, and if you're an esthetician, you should be too! I grew tired of reading about tips that don't pertain to Hawaii's esthetics field, as the regulations in our field differ from state to state.
This space is made to hold Hawaii's esthetics industry accountable and to the highest standards. I also aim to offer newer estheticians insight into how to grow and be successful in this industry. Too often, we all hear or have horror stories; by connecting with other esthies, I hope we can avoid this and make better decisions on where to work or how to grow as estheticians.
I have esthie buddies reach out to me frequently asking my opinion on certain products or treatments, so what better way to share our tips and tricks than a Facebook Group?
Why I Created the Facebook Group for Estheticians?
The beauty and skincare industry constantly evolves, and staying up-to-date requires collaboration and support. While Hawaii is home to many talented estheticians, we often operate independently, making it challenging to connect and share insights. This Facebook group is designed to bridge that gap and create a supportive space for:
Networking: Meet other estheticians on the island, exchange ideas, and build meaningful professional relationships.
Education: Share and discover industry knowledge, including the latest trends, products, and treatment protocols.
To promote courses, classes, or equipment; estheticians and brand reps must be vetted and get approval, as this group's focus will not be on selling to other estheticians.
The purpose of the above is to not have this group be flooded with reps and to make sure the classes and courses are of top quality.
Collaboration: Find opportunities to collaborate on events, workshops, or other community-driven initiatives.
Support: Celebrate wins, navigate challenges, and learn from one another’s experiences.

Lounge Chat: This is an open space for all members to connect, share ideas, and discuss anything related to the esthetics industry in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Rentals: This chat is for licensed estheticians seeking or offering rental opportunities, including treatment rooms and shared spaces.
Service for Service: Connect with fellow estheticians to exchange services, share expertise, and support each other. Trade treatments like facials or advanced modalities to enhance skills and build community.
Solo Estheticians: Connect with other solo esthies! This space is designed for solo estheticians to connect, share experiences, and offer support as we navigate the unique challenges and rewards of running our own business.
