What Is a Korean Lash Lift?

A Korean lash lift is a modern lash lamination technique that lifts and curls your natural lashes using gentle, conditioning-focused formulas. Unlike traditional lash perms that rely on harsh chemicals and strong adhesives, the Korean method uses cysteamine: an amino acid-derived ingredient with a molecular structure similar to keratin, the protein that makes up your natural lashes.

The technique uses flat silicone shields instead of curved rods, lifting lashes straight upward from the follicle for a longer, more open visual lash line. Each lash is individually placed using a balm-based adhesive and directionally mapped: inner corner lashes angle outward, center lashes go vertical, and outer lashes sweep toward the temple, creating a natural, eye-opening fan effect.

Because the lifting solution is applied selectively near the root rather than across the full lash length, tips stay protected and flexible. Many Korean systems incorporate keratin, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and collagen directly into the treatment to strengthen and nourish lashes during and after the lift.

The result is a soft, natural curl with a glossy finish that lasts 6–10 weeks. No extensions, no adhesive, no daily curler; just your natural lashes, beautifully lifted.

Long-Lasting Results

What to Expect

Your Korean lash lift appointment step by step.

1

Consultation & Prep

Your esthetician selects the ideal shield shape based on your lash length, eye shape, and desired lift. Lower lashes are protected and upper lashes are thoroughly cleansed.

2

Lifting & Mapping

Lashes are individually placed onto flat silicone shields using a balm-based adhesive. Inner lashes angle outward, center lashes vertical, outer lashes toward the temple for a natural open-eye effect.

3

Setting & Conditioning

A gentle lifting solution softens the lash structure at the root, then a setting lotion locks in the new shape. Keratin and peptide-infused formulas nourish and strengthen throughout.

4

Tint & Finish

If adding a tint, a professional dye is applied to deepen and define your lashes. A nourishing serum is applied as the final step to seal in hydration and shine.
